About MAHSU

Our story, our coalition, our values.

Ansanm nou fò — Stronger Together.

Origin

Built in February 2026.

MAHSU was co-founded by Haitian student leaders at Northeastern University, UMass Dartmouth, Boston College, and Salem State University, with UMass Boston joining shortly after as a fifth co-founding chapter. Northeastern serves as the host campus, but all five organizations stand as equal co-founders of MAHSU.

We formed MAHSU because no single campus organization can carry the weight of an entire diaspora alone. By uniting statewide, we share programming, amplify voices, and build lasting infrastructure for the next generation of Haitian students in Massachusetts.
